To support the Japanese national soccer team, which will play its first match in the World Cup on November 23 in Qatar, a bathhouse in Koga City has added a giant camel as a decoration to liven up the mood. Qatar, the host country of this year’s event, is known for its camel races, and in honor of this, a two-meter-high camel objet d’art made of straw is displayed in the lobby of the hot spring facility. The object was made by attaching straw, given by a local farmer, to a wood framework, which took about 20 days to create. Source: NHK / Kairakuso
