Hot Spring in Okawa, Fukuoka Closes Due to Corona Impact

An onsen facility in Okawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, will close permanently amidst the impact of COVID-19. The spread of the virus has deprived the customers of Okawa Shokaikyo Onsen, which served many tourists and local people with its famous hot springs. Prolonged losses such as cancelations of banquets and the decline of onsen guests forced the company to terminate operations on April 12. Source: Nikkei 2020-03-24
