Karate Premier League will take place in Fukuoka City in June 2023. The international tournament will bring together some 600 karate athletes from 78 countries and regions and provide them with a significant opportunity to improve their positions at the WKF world ranking. According to the All Japan Karatedo Federation, Fukuoka was chosen as the tournament site because of its easy accessibility for Asian athletes. The event is expected to attract approximately 60 athletes from 78 countries and regions. The tournament’s operation team from the All Japan Karatedo Federation visited Fukuoka City Office on Aug. 30 to ask for support to make it a great event. Source: NHK
