International Rugby Matches – Public Screenings in Fukuoka

Two international rugby union matches will be screened in Fukuoka this October and November. New Zealand will be meeting Australia for the third game in the 2018 Bledisloe Cup at the Yokohama International (Nissan) Stadium on October 27. The test match will be shown at the British Pub Morris Crafty Bear in Hakata from 2:45 pm (kickoff from 3 pm). The All Blacks will be back in Japan to take on the Brave Blossoms at the Ajinomoto Stadium on November 3 for the Lipovitan D Challenge Cup 2018. The match will be screened at the Fukugin Honten Hiroba from 2:15 pm (kickoff from 3 pm). The former Japanese national rugby player and coach Shogo Mukai will be giving a talk during the event. Food stalls serving dishes from the countries that will be participating at the 2019 Rugby World Cup will be set up on the day. The game will also be broadcast at the Riverwalk Kitakyushu shopping complex from 2:30 pm. The screening of the international fixtures and related events have been organized to to help generate interest in next year’s World Cup, which will be held in Japan for the first time.
