Local pride Hakata Ippudo Ramen announced plans yesterday to expand into Europe. They plan to open the first Hakata Ippudo Ramen shop in London as early as next June, and further mentioned plans to open in Paris within the same year. In in 2008 they opened their first overseas location in New York, and since then the company has opened a total of 28 Ippudo ramen shops across eight countries. Source: Nishinippon Shimbun, 11/29
