Itoshima Groups Donate Groceries to Foreign Exchange Students at Kyushu University

On May 16, the social welfare council of Itoshima City passed out groceries to exchange students at Kyushu University. While approximately 2,000 exchange students attend Kyudai, many are securing fewer jobs and less financial support from their families under the impact of the new coronavirus pandemic. To support those students, the organization tied up Food Bank Itoshima Happiness, Green Coop, Itoshima Shimashima Project, Ichiran, and others to donate vegetables and frozen food to these students.
