Itoshima Volunteer Group Supplying Meals to Adversely Affected Families

Itoshima Shima Shima Project, a local group, delivering Itoshima-produced vegetables to disaster-hit regions, began a meal give-away project to support local families with children. While school closures and other social changes due to the spread of the new coronavirus significantly affect children’s lives, especially at single-parent families and families with financial difficulties, the group announced the distribution of 600 free box meals between May 20~29 (*reservation required.) The group also calls for donations to continue the initiative in the coming months.
