Fukuoka Prefecture, the Fukuoka Chamber of Commerce, and local universities are teaming up to open the Fukuoka Prefecture Foreign Student Support Center in Fukuoka City in February. The center will offer continuing classes to students on Kyushu corporate culture and other regional topics. Local government, business, and academia are working together to enable students to better display their talents in Kyushu and find employment locally now that jobs are difficult to come by.
