JR Kyushu Discontinues Printed Time Schedules

JR Kyushu discontinued the distribution of their printed train schedule, called ‘pocket jikoku-hyo.” The free booklets have helped passengers since the days of the Japanese National Railways. However, reflecting on the improvements in online train schedules, search systems, and financial hardships caused by the pandemic, the company will cut budgets for printed booklets and train schedules from Mar. 13.
