JR Kyushu released its non-consolidated business plan for FY 2011 which projects a return to operating profit after last year’s loss. The basis for their optimism is the opening of JR Hakata City, the new station building in Fukuoka City. Capital investment is planned to be 31.7 billion yen, a 58.1% drop, due to the completion of the building and the opening of the Kyushu Shinkansen Line.
