JR Kyushu Suspends Jet Ferry Service to Korea

JR Kyushu Jet Ferry announced temporary cancellation of their high-speed Beetle hydrofoil service between Hakata and Busan between Mar. 9 and Mar. 31. This comes in response to the government’s request to stop carrying passengers to or from Korea and China. The company had planned a drastic schedule reduction before the government’s request. Refunds for previously purchased tickets within a designated period will be offered without penalty fees. Source: Mainichi
