Junkudo Bookstore will open a new outlet in the Tenjin Business Center II, a redevelopment project underway in central Fukuoka, developers announced on February 26. The 18-story mixed-use building, under construction adjacent to the existing Tenjin Business Center, is part of the city’s Tenjin Big Bang redevelopment initiative. Junkudo will occupy approximately 3,000 square meters on the second and third floors within a seven-story atrium space spanning from the second basement to the fifth floor. The store will sell books as well as stationery and miscellaneous goods. The building is scheduled to open in August 2026.
