Kagoshima University and Miyazaki University announced plans to establish the South Kyushu Higher Education Collaboration Organization (tentative name) to jointly train teachers and advance academic cooperation. The entity will launch as a general incorporated association in FY2025, aiming for government certification as a “university collaboration promotion corporation” by FY2026. The universities signed a comprehensive partnership covering education, research, community engagement, and industry collaboration.
