Kyushu University has been designated for a field test of kickboard share projects in Fukuoka City. Ten electric scooters were introduced at the university campus on October 24 to assess the usability and safety for riders with and without licenses in an environment resembling public streets. The scooter can run at a maximum speed of 15 km/h and is expected to help students’ transportation inside the vast campus area. The number of kickboards will be increased to 50 by the end of March 2020. Source: NHK News Web, 10/24/2019
