It’s exam season, which also means it’s Kit Kat season! As bizarre as it sounds, Kit Kats become especially popular during exam season, because “Kit Kat” (キットカット) sounds like “きっと勝つと”, which means “hopefully win!” So for the fourth time, Kurume Nishitetsu are launching their famous Kit Kat Taxis (five in total, all of which have been blessed at Kora Taisha). But this year, Fukuoka Nishitetsu will be launching two of their own. Kit Kat Taxis are Nishitetsu taxis decorated with a sakura and Kit Kat theme, and the taxis will collectively will hand out free Kit Kat gift boxes to 2,000 passengers in each city (students and their families only). Each gift box contains three bars and a good luck message. Don’t want to rely on fate to get your good luck Kit Kats?
