Kitakyushu-based Company Launches Secret Fireworks to Cheer Up Residents

Wakino Art Factory, a Kitakyushu-based firework manufacturer, launched thirty large fireworks into the sky of the Higashitani district in Kokuraminami Ward, Kitakyushu, on April 10. The company put on the display to cheer up residents who are staying at home because of the coronavirus. The company, which works for Huis Ten Boch and other clients, plans to continue the displays until it covers the entire city. However, to avoid people gathering in groups, the location of the displays will be kept secret until launch time. The second display will be held at an undisclosed location on April 17.
