IBM Japan concluded a cooperative agreement with Kitakyushu City that covers the promotion of DX and job creation in the region as well as activities to attract companies to the city. The IBM Regional DX Center will be established in Kitakyushu City in November 2022 to promote these initiatives. The center will serve as a hub for the development of human resources for DX and the co-creation of innovation in collaboration with local companies, startups, universities and government agencies by utilizing advanced technologies and methods to enhance the development of products and services, including the development and operation of various systems and business process outsourcing.
