Kitakyushu City Staff Infected with COVID-19 – Kokuraminami Ward Office Closed

It was confirmed on March 23 that a public servant working inside the Kokuraminami Ward Office in Kitakyushu City became infected with the COVID-19 virus. The city announced that the man in his forties had suffered a cough and fever since March 17 and tested positive for the COVID-19 on March 23. While the man has been absent from his office for the past six days, Kitakyushu City closed the ward office on March 24 to disinfect the area. Source: NHK 2020-03-24
