The city of Kitakyushu announced they have received an order to work with a private sector company to conduct a survey for creating a plan to build sewers in Surabaya, Indonesia. The survey will be conducted to determine if the city’s sewer construction methods and technology will be applicable there. They will submit a report in March, and hope this will lead to the order for planning and designing the system. Kitakyushu has already performed work of this sort in Cambodia and Vietnam.
