Kitakyushu City announced it will launch a revamped online reservation system for public facilities in April to improve convenience for residents. The new platform, branded “YoyaQ Kitakyushu,” will allow users to complete registration entirely online, removing the previous requirement to submit identification documents in person or by mail. The system will expand online booking access from 66 to 258 facilities, including gyms and community centers. New features will allow partial reservations, such as booking half a gymnasium, and enable users to search for facilities via an interactive map. Mayor Kazuhisa Takeuchi said the upgrade aims to make public facilities more accessible and user-friendly for people of all ages. Source: NHK News / Kitakyushu City
