The Fukuoka City-based market survey company Hospitable found that more than 20% of South Korean tourists who used the high-speed jetfoil ships between Fukuoka City and Busan have visited Kyushu at least three times, and that many of the repeat visitors come for the shopping. The company thinks that the number of Korean tourists to Kyushu will continue to rise despite the rising yen and depreciating won. About 70% of the visitors are in their 20s and 30s.
