Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc. (Kyuden) recently introduced a new rate system that incorporates a ¥300 monthly donation to a green project. The first phase of Kyuden’s ‘Mirai no Mori (Future Forest) Project’ features the Isahaya City of Nagasaki Prefecture, where the company would plant trees with the locals to offset carbon. The new price plan can be applied online or via phone. Source: Kyuden Mirai Foundation
