The Fukuoka branch of Teikoku Databank Ltd. released rankings for food service companies in Kyushu and Okinawa by sales in the fiscal year of 2018. Fukuoka City-based Plenus, which operates the Hotto Motto bento chain and Yayoiken restaurants, ranked the first for sixteen straight years with annual sales of approximately ¥142 billion.
