Kyushu and Okinawa’s business sentiment declined again in April, according to Teikoku Databank’s latest survey. The region’s economic DI dropped to 44.8, down 0.9 points from March. Retail and wholesale sectors saw noticeable drops due to weak demand and cost inflation, while the real estate sector struggled with rising construction costs. The outlook for the next 3, 6, and 12 months also deteriorated compared to the previous survey. Source: Teikoku Data Bank
