According to the Kyushu Economic Research Center’s recent report, the economic index for December in Kyushu was 104.3, up by 2.2 points from November. Though the regional economy experienced new coronavirus-linked damage during the earlier months in 2020, the monthly index between June to December continued to improve. (*reference base period for the index: 2015 = 100.) The most significant improvement was reported for Oita Prefecture (+5.6 from Nov.) Source: Kyushu Economic Research Center
