Kyushu Electric Plans ¥20 Billion Bond for Nuclear Safety and Decarbonization

Kyushu Electric Power will issue transition bonds worth ¥20 billion to refinance safety upgrades at nuclear facilities and support decarbonization. This initiative, which follows a previous issuance in 2022, will involve bonds with five and ten-year maturities, managed by leading securities firms including Mizuho and Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley.
