Kyushu Electric Power has resumed normal operation of the No. 4 unit at its Genkai Nuclear Power Plant following regular inspections. The unit had been undergoing inspections since September 2022, and its gradual return to operation began on February 9, 2023. With the resumption of the No. 4 unit, Kyushu Electric Power now has three of its four nuclear power plants in operation.
