Kyushu Electric to Use 1,000 Electric Cars
Kyushu Electric Power will increase to 1,000 the number of electric automobiles it uses for business by FY 2020, it was learned. These will include plug-in hybrid cars, which combine gasoline engines and electric motors and can be recharged using a standard electrical outlet. The utility currently has 59 electric cars in its fleet.
