Kyushu Exports Mark First Increase in 15 Months

Exports from Kyushu, Okinawa, and Yamaguchi during October surpassed a year before for the first time in fifteen months. According to a report by the customs office in Moji, Kitakyushu, the region marked a 1.5% growth in exports at a monthly ¥743 billion. Region-wise, exports to the U.S. (+15.3%) and China (+11.9%) brought a significant raise with large automobile and semiconductor manufacturing equipment sales.
