Major Japanese snack food company Calbee has launched a Kyushu-only potato chip promotion! Calbee is popular for its wide range of uniquely flavored chips. Recently the company’s area-specific “local specialty” flavors have been a hit, spurring the current Kyushu campaign. Kyushu flavors include Chicken Nanban, Okinawa Shikwasa (thin-skinned flat lemon) and Agodashi (flying fish soup stock) and Kagoshima Katsuo-dashi (bonito soup stock) and are on sale until Nov. 25 in Kyushu.
