A new report from Tokyo Shoko Research reveals that 801 companies in Kyushu and Okinawa had sales exceeding ¥10 billion in FY2023, a 7.2% increase from the previous year, marking a record high. The increase is attributed to price adjustments and sales growth despite rising material costs. Kyushu Electric Power led with ¥1.79 trillion in sales, followed by Toyota Motor Kyushu with ¥1.5 trillion, and Sony Semiconductor Manufacturing in third with over ¥1 trillion. Source: FIBA
