Fukuoka City revealed on March 17 that a foreign resident in her thirties has become infected with COVID-19 (new coronavirus) The woman is an exchange student at Kyushu University, who reportedly visited Finland between February 18 and March 9 as part of her university studies. The city is currently conducting screenings of the other five members on the trip. It is the fourth confirmed infection in Fukuoka City.
