Kyushu University Participates in Development of Coronavirus Vaccination Status Technology

Kyushu University, Kajima Corporation, and two more companies began a trial to manage the new coronavirus vaccination status with finger vein recognition. Aiming to create a COVID-19 safety society without carrying vaccination certificates, the project initially requires users to scan their certificates with smartphones and register their finger vein data with a special contactless device. The new solution can also combine the latest results of PCR screenings while limiting the potential of forgery. Source: Nikkei / Kajima Corporation
