Kyushu Electric Power Company announced that yesterday Aug. 19 was the Kyushu’s highest power usage day of this summer, reaching 16,190,000 kilowatts at around 16:00. Electricity usage has now reached 97% of capacity – a number which puts a lot of pressure on Kyuden.
