Kyushu’s First Tokyo 2020 Official Shop Opens inside BIC Camera Tenjin

The first Tokyo 2020 Official Shop in Kyushu opened in Tenjin this morning (June 13) on the first floor of BIC Camera Tenjin #1 store. Approximately 600 licensed items including clothing, sports-related accessories, stationery and more will be offered until the Tokyo Olympic Games close at the end of September 2020. Today, ten new items of traditional crafts from Kyushu and Tokyo areas debuted as part of the “Traditional Craft Collection” within the licensed products. This includes plum-shaped rantai-shikki lacquerware from Fukuoka, an Imari/Arita pottery doll of the official mascot ‘Miraitowa’ from Saga, an Usuki pottery chopstick rest from Oita and traditional cooking knives from Kagoshima. These are now on sale inside the Tenjin shop. Fukuoka Now took these snapshots today.
