Laundry Locker System Launched in Fukuoka City

The first laundry-locker service in Japan opened in Fukuoka City on April 2. A special locker was installed at Meinohama Station in Nishi Ward for dropping off and returning clothes and other items. The handling of underwear, towels, and other things that need disinfection previously required in-person services; however, Fukuoka City had passed amendments to national rules and introduced the use of unique waterproof bags.
