The Nishi-Nippon City Bank, Ltd. and Kyushu University are set to launch a joint-online business to match intellectual properties with interested corporations. Clients of ‘Nishi-Nippon FH Big Advance’ (a paid service for companies) can find the university’s patented technologies and other intellectual properties that suit their business needs for free and complete all procedures online. The university currently owns some 260 patented technologies in machinery, life science, and more, and the program would allow those technologies to contribute to society. The service begins on Feb.1. Source: Sankei / Nikkei
