A council to promote tourism in Kagoshima Prefecture, consisting of local governments and tourism associations, held a publicity event at a Fukuoka City hotel on the 2nd for travel agencies and other companies in the industry. Participating were representatives of 13 local governments in the prefecture, including those from Kagoshima City and Ibusuki. They profiled local lodging facilities and restaurants and served cuisine associated with the prefecture.
