Local Produce on Sale to Support Relief Efforts in Asakura and Toho

Torrential downpours from last month caused severe damage throughout Asakura City and Toho Village. Local fruit and produce from these areas will be on sale outside Fukuoka City Hall until August 4 to help support reconstruction efforts. Donations will also be collected with the proceeds going towards disaster relief in the worst affected areas. The first 50 families who contribute more than ¥500 will receive a pair of Japanese rhinoceros beetles caught in Toho Village as pets.
