A lottery to choose viewers of the Olympic Torch Relay event in Fukuoka is taking place, with applications accepted until April 11. Approximately 1,300 seats are available for May 11 (venue: Heiwadai Track and Field Stadium) and May 12 (venue: Kanmon Strait Museum). Online and mail applications are accepted between 3/24 ~ 4/11. Viewers will be selected by lottery if the number of applications exceeds that of available seats.
