Man in Saga Loses 6.5 million Yen In Cryptocurrency Scam

A male resident of Saga City lost the equivalent of  ¥6.5 million in a case of cryptocurrency fraud. A woman he met through a matching app advised him to invest ¥100,000 and then eight more times. Soon after, he lost access to the account. Police are currently investigating the case and warning others of similar scams, especially on social media. Source: NHK / FNN
