Manga Museum Opens in Kitakyushu
The Kitakyushu Manga Museum opened Aug 3 on the 5th and 6th floors of the Aru Aru Building in Kokura. The museum contains many original drawings and panels and thousands of mangas for visitors to read. Staff are dressed up as Maetel from ‘Galaxy Express 999’ to add to the atmosphere. Entry fees of ¥400 for adults, ¥200 for Junior and Senior High students and ¥100 for Elementary students apply, but yearly passes are also available. The museum is closed on Tuesdays.
