Meet the Newcomers at Fukuoka City Zoo

There are two newcomers at the Fukuoka Zoo! A one-year old male giraffe named Jura has been brought over from Nagoya City to Fukuoka City Zoo and visitors can see him from Nov. 11. The zoo’s female giraffe, Linda, is open to the visitors as usual. The zoo hopes that the two giraffes will breed in the future. Also new is an Arabian oryx called Saleem, who was brought to Fukuoka Zoo from Yokohama and will also make his first public appearance on Nov. 11.
