Results of the government’s “economy watcher” survey were announced on January 10 that business confidence throughout Kyushu’s seven prefectures for January was 43.8, up by 3.3 points compared to the previous month. Some believe that the regional economy has come out of stagnancy after the nation’s recent consumption tax hike.
