Miyazaki-Seoul Flights Return to Daily Service

The Miyazaki-Seoul (Incheon) route will operate daily again this winter to meet seasonal travel demand, Miyazaki Gov. Shunji Kono announced on September 1. The route currently operates three round trips a week. Asiana Airlines and Korean Air, which is merging with Asiana, informed the prefecture that one daily round trip will operate from December 18 through March 27, 2027. Flights will leave Incheon at 9:20 a.m., with return service departing Miyazaki at 12:10 p.m. The expanded schedule is expected to accommodate more South Korean golf travelers while improving access for Miyazaki residents traveling for tourism or business. Winter daily service began in 2024, while the route itself has operated since 2001. The prefecture hopes to maintain and expand service year-round. Source: Nikkei / UMK News
