MLB Breakfast Club Comes to One Fukuoka Bldg.

Major League Baseball will bring the third edition of its MLB Breakfast Club initiative to Fukuoka from July 1, transforming parts of the recently opened ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. into morning viewing spaces where visitors can watch live MLB games before work or school. The program, launched in 2026 to encourage fans in Japan to make MLB viewing part of their morning routine, follows earlier events in Tokyo and Morioka. The first phase will run through July 26 at ONE FUKUOKA BLDG., a major new Tenjin landmark that opened in 2025. A viewing area with game broadcasts and an MLB café FUKUOKA food truck will be set up in the building’s northwest plaza on the first floor, while additional screenings will be held at the sixth-floor SKY LOBBY SQUARE. Visitors will be able to watch live games while enjoying ballpark-inspired menu items, including hot dogs, a breakfast plate, Cajun chicken over rice, and a Fukuoka-exclusive mentaiko dog. The event later moves to Lion Square from July 27 to August 16. Organizers said the collaboration aligns with efforts to increase activity and attract more visitors to the Tenjin area through sports-related experiences. Source: MLB
