Fukuoka City are introducing two new bus passes from Jun. 1, 2016: the Fukuoka City One-Day Free Pass (for use on all public lines in the city; adult ¥900, child ¥450) and Fukuoka City & Dazaifu Liner One-Day Free Pass (adult ¥1,500, child ¥750). The introduction of these two bus passes, which serve a larger area, means that certain bus passes will be discontinued: Downtown Fukuoka One-Day Pass (valid until Mar. 31, 2017), Holiday Pass (valid until Mar. 31, 2017), Green Pass (valid until Dec. 31, 2017) and Green Pass Dazaifu (valid until Dec. 31, 2017). To use the passes, scratch the dates of the day you plan to want to use the pass, and show it to the staff when you get off the bus. These new bus paases will be printed in Japanese, English and Korean. The passes can be purchased at major bus terminals and Nishitetsu Bus business offices. The Fukuoka City One-day Free Pass can also be purchased on buses. Source: Nishitetsu press release, 3/25
