Nangoku Hotels (Kagoshima City) announced on November 28 the outline of the Sheraton Kagoshima, a hotel scheduled to open in mid-May 2023 in Kagoshima City, located in the city center, just over 1 km from JR Kagoshima Chuo Station, and designed to attract tourists, mainly wealthy people from Japan and abroad, for extended stays. The hotel will have one basement floor and 19 floors above ground. The size of each room is planned to be at least 35 square meters for singles and 100 square meters for suites (10 rooms). The first floor will be a lounge and reception area, the second floor will be a banquet hall and the fifth floor will be a natural hot spring spa.
