Starting July 1, JR West Japan Marunix Co., Ltd. will open “Crosta Hakata” at Hakata Station’s Hikari Plaza. This is the first “Crosta” store in Kyushu, offering luggage storage and delivery services to hotels. These services, already popular in Kyoto, Shin-Osaka, Osaka, and Hiroshima, aim to enhance the tourist experience by promoting hands-free travel.
The new service will operate from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. Luggage storage will cost 800 yen for small items and 1,000 yen for large items, while the delivery service will charge 1,500 yen per item, transporting luggage from Hakata Station to various hotels in Fukuoka City. Participating hotels include ANA Crowne Plaza Fukuoka, Grand Hyatt Fukuoka, THE BLOSSOM HAKATA Premier, The Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka, Nishitetsu Grand Hotel, Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk, Hotel Okura Fukuoka, Hotel Nikko Fukuoka, Hotel New Otani Hakata, and Miyako Hotel Hakata.
Additionally, starting in late July, a new service will allow luggage checked at “Crosta Shin-Osaka” to be transported by Shinkansen and delivered to “Crosta Hakata” or hotels in Fukuoka City.
