Nissan Motors launched sales of its NV350 Caravan model van for commercial use on the 15th. It is the first updating of the Caravan model in 11 years. The older model was manufactured in Kanagawa Prefecture, but the automaker transferred production of the new model to their plant in Fukuoka Prefecture. The company said that 40% of the parts are sourced from South Korea and China, which cuts costs and enables them to allow the vehicle to be produced domestically.
